My childhood memories of watching that movie have you and A in it!!amy perkinsnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5954164009673150556.post-12179578246864856532011-10-14T11:39:54.993-07:002011-10-14T11:39:54.993-07:00My mom "stole" a taped copy of PRINCESS ...My mom "stole" a taped copy of PRINCESS BRIDE on the last day of school and brought it home. My brother and I sat down to watch it and proceeded to watch it every day for that entire summer. We watched it so much that our parents came in to see what the fuss was about. To this day, my brother and I can quote every line. He owns the DVD and the Blue Ray, because he must be able to watch it on any device at any time.

We also saw "Adventures in Babysitting" at my grandma's house with my entire family. It is a Christmas favorite for us. It shall never be known as "A Night on the Town." Ever.

My neighbor got cable before my family did and he ran a wire from his house to mine when "Annie" premiered on cable. The whole neighborhood came over and watched it with me - I was a bit obsessed.

Ahh, memories...
Trini (thanks for adding Buttercup)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5954164009673150556.post-22341236247158119632011-10-14T04:29:08.923-07:002011-10-14T04:29:08.923-07:00Oh man. Flashing back ...
My brother and I used ...Oh man. Flashing back ...

My brother and I used to get the hugest kick out of "Don't fuck with the babysitter" when we were kids. Ooh, swear word!

From watching Dirty Dancing, I simply cannot pronounce Johnny any other way than how Baby does when she calls out to him leaving Penny's room: 'JAH-nny'.

Heathers lead me into my teenage mega-crush on Christian Slater (and slight girl-crush on Winona. Beetlejuice - moody girl with a camera!)

I constantly bang on about The Goonies being the best movie of all time, but I remember watching Annie, Ghostbusters, Gremlins, National Lampoon's Vacation, Flight of the Navigator and The Money Pit, among others.

I also remember during one school holidays, we watched a total T&A movie called The Bikini Shop: two college graduates inherit a bikini shop and naked hi jinks occur. Oscar worthy, I'm sure.

Right. Well, I think my plans for the coming weekend are sorted.annelisehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02758397701111620142noreply@blogger.com
